Customer Support Engineer

About the role

Join Airbus as a Customer Support Engineer in the Stockholm area, supporting public‑safety radio communication systems. You will be responsible for restoring the operational status of Professional Mobile Radio (PMR) networks and handling incidents and problems for critical customers.

Key responsibilities

• Take over incidents and technical requests from the Service Desk, analyse faults and maintain agreed service levels.
• Manage escalation, incident and problem processes, and coordinate with 3rd‑level product support.
• Implement solutions and work‑arounds remotely or on‑site, and create reproducible test procedures for fault verification.
• Maintain test environments, conduct integration and functional tests, and document results.

Required profile

• Degree in electrical, communications engineering, computer science or related field.
• Up to 3 years of experience in an ITIL‑based service desk, incident and problem management.
• Strong communication skills in English and Swedish.
• Ability to work both independently and within a multicultural team.

Required skills

• ITIL Foundation knowledge.
• Experience with CRM and trouble‑ticket systems.
• Knowledge of digital/mobile radio systems (4G/5G, TETRA, TETRAPOL, DMR) and subscriber management.
• Proficiency with UNIX/Linux/Windows operating systems.
• Understanding of IP networks, network management systems and IT security architectures.
• Familiarity with databases and Nokia DX platform (a plus).
