About the role

Huawei Sweden R&D is seeking high‑performing individuals with a strong competition background to join its Competition Talent Program. You will work on frontier technologies that shape the future of wireless communication, applying the problem‑solving skills you honed in contests to real‑world research projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D teams on cutting‑edge algorithm and AI projects.
• Translate competition‑derived solutions into scalable prototypes.
• Participate in internal hackathons, code reviews, and technical workshops.
• Contribute to research papers and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in competitions such as ICPC, IMC, Olympiads, CTF, Kaggle, EUCYS, MCM/ICM.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to tackle complex problems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for continuous learning and innovation.
