Head of Customer Activation

About the role

As Head of Customer Activation you will lead a global function that transforms technical expertise into stronger customer relationships, new business opportunities and measurable growth. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Sales, you will shape how we engage customers through Sandvik Coromant Centers, Tech Days events and the Sandvik Coromant Academy. The role combines strategic direction with hands‑on execution and involves significant transformation responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Drive activity and customer engagement through Sandvik Coromant Centers worldwide.
• Develop and expand Tech Days as a platform for customer acquisition and engagement.
• Transform Sandvik Coromant Academy offerings toward a revenue‑generating model.
• Make technical content relevant, engaging and attractive to customers.
• Lead a global team and collaborate across markets, functions and senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Deep technical credibility in manufacturing, CNC, metal cutting or related industrial environments.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate technical expertise into clear customer value.
• Proven leadership experience in a global setting and ability to drive change across cultures.
• University degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in industrial B2B sales, product management, technical leadership, customer‑facing roles or industrial training.
