Enterprise Sales Executive – Sweden

About the role

Our Enterprise Sales Executives target and close new business with Datadog’s largest, most strategic customers and prospects. You’ll focus on uncovering pain points as organizations operate or migrate to cloud at scale and deliver the appropriate Datadog solution.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect into large Fortune 1000 companies while running an efficient sales process.
• Maintain and own relationship maps for your territory, including existing and aspirational contacts.
• Develop a deep comprehension of customers’ business and negotiate favorable pricing and terms.
• Handle existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth in the assigned territory.
• Identify business drivers behind opportunities and ensure high forecasting accuracy.
• Demonstrate resourcefulness when faced with challenges and intuit the steps needed to close deals.

Required profile

• 3+ years of closing experience with a mix of mid‑market and enterprise field selling.
• Consistently met or exceeded direct sales goals of $1M+ with average deal size of $100k+.
• Proven methodology to prospect and build pipeline independently.
• Experience selling SaaS or IT‑infrastructure solutions into large Fortune 1000 companies.
• Willingness to travel regularly to client sites across regions.
