Associate Clinical Consultant Electrophysiology

About the role

J&J Medtech Electrophysiology supports clinicians using its devices for diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders, including the CARTO 3-D Mapping System. The Associate Clinical Consultant provides clinical support during electrophysiology interventions at hospitals, receives intensive training in cardiac electrophysiology and then helps drive adoption of J&J products and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support customers during electrophysiology procedures with J&J products, ensuring good technology adoption and keeping open lines of communication internally and externally.
• After training, promote J&J solutions, seek sales opportunities and connect the Sales Manager with key decision-makers.
• Work with the European Technical team on servicing, maintenance, repair and upgrades of sites and hardware.
• Stay current on product IFUs, methodologies, troubleshooting and clinical literature.
• Build customer relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, hospital administrators and staff.
• Answer daily customer requests by email and telephone.
• Handle administrative tasks such as CRM, account documentation, complaints, safety and environmental compliance, compliance training, expense reporting and fleet standards.

Required profile

• Degree level education, preferably biomedical engineering, health informatics or technology engineering.
• Willingness to travel up to 1-2 nights per week away from home.
• Swedish fluency and business-level English.
• Experience in electrophysiology or cardiology preferred but not mandatory.
• Located in Gothenburg.

Required skills

• Computer software packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong technical understanding and interest.

What we offer

• Base pay range of SEK 432,000 to 693,450.
• Annual bonus or sales commission depending on performance.
