Technical Product Owner – Core Services

About the role

DoiT is looking for a Technical Product Owner to lead rapid delivery and iteration for its Core Services platform. Working remotely across several European locations, you will translate high‑level product strategy into concrete, shippable increments for the engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Convert VP‑level vision into a prioritized backlog of user stories, acceptance criteria and thin‑sliced work items.
• Maintain a disciplined cadence of backlog refinement, sprint readiness and scope negotiation.
• Engage directly with customers (3‑5 calls per week) to validate ideas, gather feedback and shape product decisions.
• Partner with engineering leads on sequencing, technical trade‑offs and delivery planning while ensuring product intent survives implementation constraints.
• Define success metrics (adoption, reliability, time‑to‑value) and instrument releases to feed learning back into the roadmap.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of hands‑on experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, SRE, Cloud Engineer or Solutions Architect working with public‑cloud infrastructure.
• Strong product sense: ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear scope and deliverable value.
• Systems thinking and the ability to reason about complex distributed architectures and long‑term platform evolution.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts simply and build alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
