NetSuite Systems Engineer – Financial Systems

About the role

DoiT is looking for a NetSuite Systems Engineer to own and evolve its financial systems portfolio. You will work remotely with Finance and Accounting teams, shaping automation and integration strategies as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Administer NetSuite (and upcoming FloQast) – configuration, custom records, workflows, and day‑to‑day health.
• Identify manual, error‑prone finance processes and automate them using SuiteFlow, scripting, or low‑code tools.
• Define and maintain business logic and canonical data definitions for finance operations.
• Build and support cross‑system integrations on a version‑controlled integration platform.
• Act as the dedicated systems partner for Finance, translating needs into system capabilities and handling vendor onboarding.
• Leverage modern AI coding tools to accelerate routine automation work.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of hands‑on NetSuite administration, including configuration, customizations, and integration management.
• Solid understanding of core finance processes such as month‑end close, reconciliations, procure‑to‑pay, and revenue management.
• Proven track record of eliminating repetitive manual work through automation.
• Good judgment on where logic belongs – system configuration vs. integration vs. source of truth.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across finance and engineering teams.
• Fluent English; additional language a plus.

Required skills

• NetSuite administration (SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, custom records, roles/permissions).
• SuiteScript (1.0 or 2.0) and/or general scripting languages.
• SQL and API‑based automation experience.
• Experience with integration platforms or event‑driven architectures.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted coding or low‑code automation tools.
