Senior Platform Engineer

About the role

Our Senior Platform Engineer will be an integral part of our Engineering teams. The role is fully remote, available to candidates located in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden, Israel and other Eastern European countries.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, applying software engineering best practices.
• Deploy, configure and operate Kubernetes clusters on GCP (GKE) and AWS (EKS), ensuring high availability and performance.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Argo CD or Atlantis for platform components.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve platform‑related incidents, including performance, scalability and security issues.
• Automate operational tasks and drive continuous improvement of reliability and efficiency.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in platform or DevOps engineering, building complex cloud infrastructure.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with hands‑on coding in Go or Typescript.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work effectively in a distributed remote team.

Required skills

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Kubernetes (GKE, EKS) and service‑mesh concepts.
• Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• CI/CD tools such as Argo CD, Atlantis.
• Monitoring and logging with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
• Networking concepts and cloud security best practices.
