Senior Business Analyst – Mining (Remote)

About the role

Tether is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with deep mining sector expertise to support M&A advisory and investment banking activities. Working 100% remotely, you will bridge geological knowledge with commercial and financial analysis to evaluate mining assets and investment opportunities across the resources value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive due diligence on mining assets and companies, integrating geological, technical, and commercial assessments.
• Build and maintain robust financial models, including DCF, NAV, and comparable transaction analyses, for mining projects and corporate transactions.
• Analyze mineral resource and reserve statements (JORC, NI 43-101, or equivalents) and interpret their commercial implications.
• Support M&A advisory teams by preparing investment memoranda, valuation reports, and strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate data integration and alignment with Tether’s broader fintech initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a business analyst or similar role within the mining sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize technical geological data into financial insights.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working fully remote in a fast‑paced, global environment.
