Venture Scout – Source Startup Deals

About the role

CVX Ventures is creating a network of highly talented Venture Scouts to help source attractive investment opportunities for fast‑growing companies. As a Scout you will work part‑time, gaining hands‑on experience in venture capital while meeting innovative founders across your market. The programme also serves as a pathway to join the CVX Investment Team.

Key responsibilities

• Identify exciting startups, engage with founders and conduct deep research on teams, markets and competition.
• Maintain a pipeline of potential deals and provide regular market analysis to the Investment Team.
• Prepare a concise 1‑2 page investment memo summarising your thesis and present it in‑person or online to the CVX Investment Team.

Required profile

• Passion for sourcing investments and a strong interest in entrepreneurship.
• Desire to develop core venture‑capital skills and potentially move into a full‑time role with CVX.
• Willingness to work on a part‑time, success‑based basis.
