Principal Software Developer (C#/.NET) – Hybrid, Sundsvall

About the role

Join AVEVA's Sundsvall team to design and develop innovative industrial software solutions. You will work on data‑management and cloud‑based systems that support customers in automation and engineering, with a focus on containerised applications running in Kubernetes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug software applications using C#/.NET.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and global teams.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold high‑quality standards.
• Work in an agile environment with continuous integration and deployment.
• Contribute to new features and maintain existing codebases.
• Share knowledge and grow technical skills within the team.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience developing software in C#/.NET.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio and modern development practices.
• Ability to write clean, well‑structured code.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
