About the role

We are looking for an experienced construction manager specialized in earthworks and civil engineering to lead a public‑sector project on Norr Mälarstrand, Stockholm. The assignment is a consultancy role that will evolve from a part‑time involvement (10‑15% of full‑time) until the construction contract starts in spring 2027, then increase to roughly 50% until the project’s completion in spring 2028.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the procurement and design phases, ensuring clear specifications and tender documentation.
• Lead the execution of the construction contract, coordinating subcontractors and municipal authorities.
• Manage quality, schedule, and budget, reporting progress to the client.
• Oversee the relocation of curb lines and the narrowing of existing traffic lanes to create a wider bicycle corridor.
• Conduct post‑construction follow‑up and handover activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a construction manager in earthworks or infrastructure projects.
• Strong ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with a state‑owned client.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
