Senior Integration Manager, M&A

About the role

Sandvik's Machining M&A team is looking for a Senior Integration Manager to strengthen its ability to integrate acquisitions as M&A activity grows. You will work closely with business leaders to create value and ensure acquired companies are successfully integrated, while also acting as a subject matter expert in integration management and helping to build a community of integration practitioners. The role reports to the Head of Mergers and Acquisitions within Machining.

Key responsibilities

• Protect revenue, deliver synergies and drive operational improvements with minimal disruption.
• Support leadership teams in designing post-merger operating models, including change management, culture integration, IT enablement and communication.
• Coach and support divisional integration managers, and build a community of integration practitioners.
• Guide business owners and divisional leaders through integration planning, governance and execution.
• Lead selected integrations and divestitures end-to-end, define integration strategy, ensure Day 1 readiness and lead the Integration Management Office (IMO).
• Establish governance, decision forums and a common integration methodology.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in international M&A and post-merger integration, with a background in management consulting, corporate development, private equity or a similar role.
• Experience leading IMOs and integrations across functions and geographies, from due diligence to value realization.
• Experience in operating companies and industrial organizations is a strong advantage.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken; additional languages, especially Swedish, are a plus.

The preferred location is Stockholm, Sweden, with regular presence at the office and international travel as part of the role.
