Corporate Governance Research Intern - Nordic Market

About the role

ISS STOXX, a provider of corporate governance research, data and proxy voting solutions, is looking for research interns for its Nordic market, working alongside experienced analysts during proxy voting season (February to May 2027). The internship is based in the Nordic region and takes place at the ISS STOXX office in Stockholm.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze publicly available materials of public companies, focusing on governance structures, executive compensation and capital structure.
• Help deliver information, analysis and vote recommendations to institutional shareholder clients such as pension funds and other asset owners.
• Prepare reports explaining the analyses and the reasons behind each vote recommendation.

Required profile

• Relevant bachelor's or master's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Law or Political Sciences, or in the final stages of such a degree.
• Fluency in English, spoken and written.
• One of the following languages at native standard is an advantage: Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, Norwegian or Swedish.
• Prior experience in a relevant area is an advantage.
• Interest in corporate governance, capital markets and business.

• Ability to read large amounts of information, work independently and take initiative while remaining a team player.
• Organized, logical reasoning and intellectual independence.
