Line Manager HVDC Service Warranty & Care

About the role

HVDC Service, based in Ludvika, Sweden, is looking for a Line Manager to lead the Service Warranty & Care function. The role supports and develops the individuals and the group, with personnel responsibility for a team of 10-20 professionals who report directly to you. The position is full time, based in Ludvika with frequent office presence and flexible hybrid working.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage employee relations, development and engagement to foster a sense of community among employees.
• Build and develop the team through training and development initiatives.
• Provide strategic direction, leadership and coordination of the function and operational work together with technical specialists.
• Manage priorities and ensure performance and quality goals are met across all project phases.
• Take a proactive approach to recruiting and plan project staffing, including short-term and long-term team structure changes.
• Partner with management to develop and implement people management initiatives and share best practices.

Required profile

• Experience as a people manager or other relevant leadership experience with personnel responsibility is highly desirable.
• Experience in technology, engineering, electrical design, hardware design or similar is required; prior HVDC experience is a plus.
• Fluency in Swedish and English is a must.
• Strong communication, social and interpersonal skills, clear decision making and the drive to take full responsibility.
