Investment Banking Intern 2027 (Stockholm)

About the role

Mizuho/Greenhill, part of Mizuho America's Corporate and Investment Bank, is recruiting Investment Banking interns for 2027 in Stockholm. The internship is full-time for 3 months throughout the year, except over July and early August, and recruitment is primarily in September and October. Interns join small project teams on a range of projects, starting to develop an analyst skill-set and gaining exposure to high-profile deals and senior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Build and update valuation models and business plans for corporate finance and restructuring transactions (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions)
• Prepare marketing documents, client presentations, pitch books, information memorandums and data rooms
• Conduct internet and database research on sectors and prospects
• Perform financial analysis and business planning
• Assist in client meetings and prepare client presentations

Required profile

• On track for a 2:1 or above in a bachelor's degree from a leading university
• Fluency in English and one Nordic language
• Strong work ethic, keen eye for detail, strong numerical ability and logical reasoning
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex ideas clearly
• Demonstrable commercial awareness and a real interest in transactions
• Track record of excellence in extra-curricular activities alongside studies
