General Manager – Restaurant

About the role

We are looking for an energetic General Manager to lead Villa Valentina, a Mediterranean‑style restaurant in Stockholm. The successful candidate will own the day‑to‑day performance, ensure a memorable guest experience and nurture a motivated front‑of‑house team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, guaranteeing smooth, high‑quality service.
• Create a warm, memorable guest experience aligned with Villa Valentina standards.
• Coach, support and develop the management and front‑of‑house staff.
• Drive sales, profitability, labour control and overall operational performance.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to maintain strong communication and service flow.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, compliance, presentation and team behaviour.
• Foster a positive team culture based on trust, passion, inclusion and ownership.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a General Manager, Restaurant Manager or senior Assistant General Manager.
• Proven ability to lead busy, guest‑focused restaurant operations.
• Strong people‑leadership skills with a track record of developing others.
• Commercial acumen regarding sales, costs, labour and profitability.
• Hands‑on leadership style with a visible presence on the floor.
• Passion for hospitality, team culture and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
