Corporate Governance Research Intern – Nordic Market

About the role

ISS STOXX, a provider of corporate governance research, data and proxy voting solutions, is looking for research interns for its Nordic market, working alongside experienced analysts during proxy voting season (February to May 2027). The internship is based in the ISS STOXX office in Stockholm and runs five days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze publicly available materials of public companies, focusing on governance structures, executive compensation and capital structure.
• Help deliver information, analysis and vote recommendations to institutional shareholder clients such as pension funds and other asset owners.
• Prepare reports explaining the analyses and the reasons behind each vote recommendation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Law or Political Sciences, or in the final stages of such a degree.
• Fluent English, spoken and written; Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, Norwegian or Swedish to a native standard is an advantage.
• Prior experience in a relevant area is an advantage.
• Interest in corporate governance, capital markets and business.

• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and written communication skills.
• Ability to read large amounts of information, work independently and take initiative while remaining a team player.
• Logical reasoning, good judgment and intellectual independence.
