Project Documentation Manager (HVDC)

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY SWEDEN AB is looking for a Project Documentation Manager to join its global project documentation team for HVDC projects. The role sits in a project core team reporting directly to the Project Director and ensures compliance with requirements and processes while monitoring and controlling documentation deliverables. It coordinates with Project Document Control resources across global locations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish documentation management processes based on HVDC base processes and adapted to contract requirements.
• Train and support project team members so they can follow the processes.
• Control customer contracts and specifications, manage requirements, calculate risks, perform cost calculations and follow up costs.
• Prepare reports and presentations on project documentation and monitor progress such as reviews, approvals and planned deliverables against the schedule.
• Align project team, suppliers and third parties on standards, systems and an efficient flow of documentation.
• Make strategic decisions and priorities based on big-picture analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience as Lead Document Control, Project Manager or similar.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Swedish; additional languages are an advantage.
• Responsive, customer-oriented and able to advocate for yourself and drive work forward.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers and experience with a document management system are advantageous.
