Internal Supplier Lead

About the role

As an Internal Supplier Lead you will shape the way internal suppliers – Sandvik production units and sister brands – are managed. Based in Fagersta, you will bring structure, ownership and disciplined processes to a business‑critical part of the supply chain, working closely with procurement, planning, production and cross‑brand teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own escalated purchase‑order exceptions for internal orders, covering delivery, quality and invoice deviations.
• Act as the single point of ownership and escalation for internal supplier issues.
• Prepare, run and follow up supplier performance dialogues.
• Monitor quality, delivery and cost KPIs and lead root‑cause problem solving with relevant stakeholders.
• Set up new internal suppliers and maintain supplier and item master data in the ERP system.
• Onboard internal suppliers to standard processes and support continuous improvement across functions.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in operational or tactical purchasing, supply chain, planning or order management.
• Strong understanding of how supplier performance impacts service, working capital and cost.
• Advanced education in supply chain, procurement, industrial engineering, business administration or equivalent experience.
• Professional proficiency in English; Swedish is a plus for collaboration with Swedish production units.
• Analytical, structured problem‑solver with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• ERP system knowledge, preferably M3, and experience maintaining master data.
