Finance Business Partner Manager – Northern Europe

About the role

Mastercard Europe Finance is looking for a driven finance professional to join the Finance Business Partner team as a Manager. The role will primarily support the Core business in Finland and the Baltic markets, acting as a trusted advisor and business partner.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance contact for Finland and the Baltic markets, collaborating with management, account managers, marketing, services, and regional finance teams.
• Lead P&L management and results analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
• Drive forecast and budget processes across markets, customers, and product lines.
• Align local investments and fund usage with strategy, customer needs, and country objectives.
• Evaluate financial impact of new Customer Business Agreements and maintain a pipeline of opportunities.
• Promote controllership excellence by educating business teams on accounting principles and policies.
• Lead ad‑hoc strategic projects related to pricing, product & segment P&L, partnerships, non‑traditional deals, and M&A opportunities.
• Foster strong relationships with the Divisional Finance Officer, Northern Europe Finance team, and broader Europe Finance organization.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance or a related field.
• Strong professional experience in finance or business with relevant qualifications.
• Broad expertise across multiple finance disciplines, including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and controllership.
