About the role

We are looking for an Information Security Consultant to support a municipal organization in establishing and further developing a systematic information security work program. The assignment starts at approximately 50% of a full‑time position and may increase to 100% during the contract period.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the client in setting up and advancing a systematic information security management process.
• Provide guidance on information classification and the implementation of NIS2 requirements.
• Ensure work is performed in line with applicable legislation and standards such as GDPR, NIS2 and the ISO/IEC 27000 series.
• Contribute both strategically and operationally, supporting knowledge transfer for a planned expansion of the security function in 2027.

Required profile

• Strong flexibility and collaboration skills to work closely with the client.
• Experience in municipal or public sector environments is advantageous.
• Ability to operate both at a strategic level and in day‑to‑day security tasks.

Required skills

• Knowledge of NIS2 directive.
• Familiarity with GDPR compliance.
• Understanding of ISO/IEC 27000 series standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001).
