SAP BTP Integration Suite Architect

About the role

As an SAP BTP Integration Suite Architect you will design and oversee cloud‑based integration strategies, connecting SAP and non‑SAP systems using SAP Integration Suite to enable real‑time data exchange and support digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Define overall integration architecture aligning IT with business goals for cloud‑to‑cloud, on‑premise‑to‑cloud and B2B scenarios.
• Guide development of integration flows (iFlows) using visual BPMN‑style tools.
• Leverage SAP Integration Suite capabilities such as Cloud Integration, Event Mesh, API Management and pre‑built content.
• Establish standards for integration, security (OAuth2, certificates) and monitoring.
• Drive migration from legacy middleware (e.g., SAP PO) to the cloud‑native Integration Suite.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business, IT or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI, Event Mesh, API Management) and integration patterns.
• Hands‑on migration experience from SAP PO or comparable legacy middleware to cloud‑native platforms.
• Experience in multinational, matrix organisations and managing vendors/consultants.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Required skills

• SAP Integration Suite: Cloud Integration, Event Mesh, API Management, OpenConnectors.
• Integration patterns: SOAP, REST, OData, event‑driven architectures.
• Programming: Groovy, JavaScript for custom logic.
• Security: OAuth2, certificate management.
• Non‑SAP integration of SaaS and in‑house applications.
