Third Party Risk Manager

About the role

Santander Consumer Bank is seeking a Third Party Risk Manager to join its Nordic Sourcing organisation on a one‑year assignment. The role supports operations across Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland, ensuring robust identification, assessment, monitoring and mitigation of risks within the third‑party supplier ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and oversee a Third‑Party Risk Management framework.
• Lead risk assessment and due‑diligence processes for new and existing suppliers.
• Collaborate with legal and procurement to review contracts and identify risk areas.
• Continuously monitor third‑party performance and provide regular risk reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards and internal policies.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors to facilitate effective communication and risk mitigation.
• Conduct internal training and awareness sessions on third‑party risk best practices.
• Work closely with the Procurement team to align risk management with sourcing strategies.
