Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – High‑Growth B2B SaaS

About the role

The client, a fast‑growing private‑equity backed B2B SaaS business, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join the executive team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will provide strategic financial leadership and help shape the company’s next phase of expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO, Board and shareholders on long‑term strategic direction.
• Lead and develop the finance function, ensuring strong governance, reporting and operational excellence.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and scenario modelling.
• Provide commercial insight to support investment decisions and resource allocation.
• Strengthen financial controls, systems and reporting across the organisation.
• Develop management information and performance reporting for executive and Board stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted commercial partner to operational leaders.
• Support future strategic initiatives as the business grows.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CFO, VP Finance or senior finance leader in a B2B SaaS or software environment.
• Deep understanding of recurring revenue models, subscription businesses and SaaS performance metrics.
• Track record of driving financial governance, reporting and operational excellence.
• Ability to work closely with CEOs, Boards and private‑equity investors.
