Sous Chef – Lead Lunch Operations

About the role

Trattoria Giorgio's is looking for a motivated Sous Chef to take ownership of the daily lunch service in its new Stockholm location. You will work closely with the Head Chef to design, rotate and execute a vibrant lunch menu while ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly during high‑volume periods.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the daily lunch operation, from planning to execution.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to alternate and develop the lunch menu each day.
• Prepare and produce food according to recipes, portion standards and presentation guidelines.
• Monitor food quality during and after preparation, making adjustments as needed.
• Step in to manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.
• Support scheduling, daily coordination and training of back‑of‑house staff.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, performance and compliance with health‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Experience in a high‑volume kitchen with a focus on lunch service.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.
