Senior Development Manager

About the role

Etraveli Group is a global flight technology provider, partnering with platforms such as Booking.com, Google Flights, Skyscanner and Kayak, and operating its own travel brands. As Senior Development Manager in Gothenburg, reporting to the Director of Software Development, you will lead several engineering teams across multiple locations and take end-to-end ownership of people, delivery and technical operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coach team leads and engineers, manage performance, hiring and resource planning
• Own delivery commitments and operational excellence, ensuring measurable business value
• Set engineering KPIs, balance new features with technical health and prioritise investments by business ROI
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering workflows and measure productivity gains
• Act as a technical sounding board on architecture, APIs, scalability and technical debt

Required profile

• Proven track record managing multiple software development teams and coaching team leads (e.g. Engineering Manager, Development Manager, Head of Engineering)
• Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
• Business acumen: turning business goals into technical roadmaps and allocating resources
• Proven ability to drive predictable delivery across teams and manage dependencies
• Fluent spoken and written Swedish and English
• Bonus: experience in travel tech, e-commerce or high-transaction platforms
