IT Support Specialist - Gothenburg

About the role

Beiersdorf is looking for an IT support specialist in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will provide IT support to users across Northern Europe and the United Kingdom, with a focus on local hardware and service delivery within the company.

Key responsibilities

• IT support for users across Northern Europe and the United Kingdom, logged via a ticketing platform
• Provide IT training and knowledge transfer to users
• Handle local hardware support: laptops, Macs, iPads, iPhones, printers and similar
• Manage and maintain the asset registry
• Purchase local hardware such as mobile devices and peripherals
• Manage IT cost management for the relevant area of responsibility
• Support conference and event management with IT service delivery topics
• Manage IT service delivery projects or support other internal IT service delivery projects
• Ensure compliance with the Beiersdorf shared service IT service and support processes
• Develop proposals and measures for improving IT services and products

Required profile

• Previous experience in IT service delivery or IT support
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Ability to work autonomously
• Project management skills and experience coordinating initiatives
• A customer-focused mindset and commitment to service excellence
• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Strong knowledge of desktop services, hardware and software support
• Windows 10 & 11, macOS & iOS and mobile devices
• Printers
• Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
• Basic networking concepts
