Pizzaiolo – High‑Volume Pizza Chef

About the role

Basta is looking for a dedicated Pizzaiolo to join its fast‑paced, high‑volume pizza station in Malmö. You will work in a structured environment with clear standards for dough handling, topping, baking and presentation, ensuring every pizza meets the brand’s quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage your pizza station, leading colleagues when applying for a senior role.
• Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
• Complete mise en place to the required standard before service.
• Maintain consistency, speed and precision throughout service.
• Keep the station clean, organised and ready at all times.
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen team during service.
• Support teammates and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP and food‑safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a pizzaiolo or similar role in a fast‑paced kitchen.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under time pressure.
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team success.
• Consistent delivery of high‑quality dishes in a high‑volume setting.
