Head Chef – High‑Volume Kitchen Leader

About the role

We are looking for a Head Chef to lead our high‑volume kitchen in Malmö. You will be responsible for delivering consistent, high‑quality Italian dishes while fostering a disciplined, supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and participate in the preparation and production of all menu items.
• Ensure dishes meet recipe, portion, and presentation standards.
• Monitor food quality during and after preparation, making adjustments as needed.
• Schedule and manage kitchen staff shifts within budget constraints.
• Recruit, train, and develop back‑of‑house team members.
• Maintain health and safety compliance and oversee equipment maintenance.
• Control kitchen, staff, and food costs to support profitability.
• Manage ordering and receiving of food and supplies.
• Collaborate on menu development with the Group Head Chef.

Required profile

• Strong leadership skills with experience in a high‑volume kitchen.
• Ability to maintain consistent quality under pressure.
• Proficient financial awareness and cost control.
• Commitment to health, safety, and regulatory standards.
