Head of South/East Region, General Staffing

About the role

Adecco Sweden is looking for a Head of the South/East Region for its General Staffing business area. The role sits on the Swedish Management Team and is responsible for making the business grow faster than the market in its prioritised segments, especially in large cities and regions, and for delivering the agreed financial results, sales and delivery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the business area and set goals for financial results, sales and delivery, then implement an approved action plan to meet the budget
• Support, develop and lead individuals and teams, including regular performance management conversations and annual career conversations
• Set salaries within the region, run regional/local union negotiations and ensure salary reviews follow Adecco's salary policy
• Ensure employees receive the introduction and training they need, and follow Work Environment and Rehabilitation routines
• Own the budget and profit of the business area, approve investments in line with the approval policy, and follow up results and reporting
• Promote quality and environmental compliance, and suggest improvements and streamlining

Required profile

• Senior leader from the staffing/recruitment industry with strong white-collar/professional staffing experience
• Experience leading regional or multi-branch operations and a proven record of growing markets and businesses
• Strong P&L responsibility and ability to build high-performing leaders and teams
• Collaborative, low-ego leadership style, strategic yet execution-oriented, and comfortable in a matrix/global organisation
• Able to spot new market opportunities and drive growth
