Competence Manager Sales Applications

About the role

As the Competence Manager for Sales Applications you will ensure that the IT teams delivering sales and marketing solutions have the right skills, capacity and resources. You will work closely with product owners, developers and global stakeholders to align competence needs with business priorities and technology road‑maps.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and allocate resources for application development and delivery across the Sales Applications domain.
• Drive recruitment, sourcing and onboarding to meet identified competence gaps.
• Support change management initiatives and the adoption of new tools and processes.
• Promote continuous learning, skills development and career growth for team members.
• Monitor costs, forecasting and EHS responsibilities as delegated.
• Champion Sandvik’s values and contribute to a high‑performing, engaged organization.

Required profile

• Strong background in IT combined with people‑leadership experience.
• Hands‑on experience in application development environments.
• Proven ability to work in agile settings and collaborate with global stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Swedish is a plus.
• Ability to balance strategic and operational priorities and navigate change.
