About the role

OSTP is seeking a skilled CNC operator to join its Örnsköldsvik facility, focusing on advanced CNC machining for custom mould tools and machine components. The role offers a blend of hands‑on machining, programming, and continuous improvement within a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling machines to produce complex mould tools and machine parts.
• Program CNC‑controlled equipment using Heidenhain control systems.
• Collaborate with design engineers to enhance workplace ergonomics, boost productivity, and improve quality while reducing lead times.
• Apply clamping techniques and safely handle heavy workpieces.
• Contribute to technical and process development initiatives.

Required profile

• Completed CNC‑operator training or equivalent mechanical engineering background.
• Several years of experience in CNC machining and Heidenhain programming.
• Strong attention to detail, solution‑oriented mindset, and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Heidenhain control programming.
• CNC milling operation.
• Reading technical drawings.
• SolidWorks (preferred, not mandatory).
