Site Quality Leader - Uppsala

About the role

GE HealthCare is looking for a Site Quality Leader in Uppsala. The role develops and maintains systems, rules and processes so that projects and products meet internal and external requirements and specified standards. It suits someone with deep knowledge of ISO 13485, process controls and quality management systems, and work experience in a heavily regulated industry.

Key responsibilities

• Create a quality culture by driving compliance activities around a specific product and site, including owning the total quality management system and quality metrics.
• Ensure quality and regulatory compliance while improving process effectiveness and efficiency.
• Represent GE HealthCare to external agencies and champion the quality culture through objectives, metrics, reporting and operating mechanisms.
• Act as a first-line manager of professionals or second-line manager of a professional department, serving as a best-practice and quality resource.
• Contribute to strategy and policy development, lead small projects with moderate risk, and use judgment to solve moderately complex problems.

Required profile

• Significant experience in quality and healthcare quality.
• Knowledge level comparable to a Master's degree in a technical field, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in both Swedish and English.
• Desirable: strong interpersonal and leadership skills, proven ability to lead programs and projects, and ability to document, plan and execute them.

Required skills

• Familiarity with root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Ability to build and execute Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and use technical expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
