Site Quality Leader - Uppsala

About the role

GE HealthCare is looking for a Site Quality Leader in Uppsala. The role develops and maintains systems, rules and processes so that projects and products meet internal and external requirements and specified standards. It is typically a first-line manager of professionals or a second-line manager of a professional department, with significant input into priorities and moderate autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Create a quality culture by driving compliance activities around a specific product and site, including responsibility for the total quality management system and quality metrics.
• Ensure quality and regulatory compliance while improving process effectiveness and efficiency.
• Represent GE HealthCare to external agencies and champion the quality culture through objectives, metrics, reporting and operating mechanisms.
• Contribute to strategy and policy development and serve as a best-practice and quality resource for colleagues.
• Lead small projects with moderate risk and resource needs, explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus.

Required profile

• Significant experience in Quality and healthcare quality.
• Knowledge level comparable to a Master's degree in a technical field, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
• Swedish and English, strong oral and written communication skills.
• Desirable: strong interpersonal and leadership skills, demonstrated ability to lead programs and projects, and ability to document, plan and execute them.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of ISO 13485, process controls and quality management systems.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis, problem solving and building Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans.
• Ability to use technical expertise and data analysis to support recommendations.
