Senior Consultant (m/f/d) – Strategy Consulting, Stockholm or Copenhagen

About the role

Oliver Wyman, a global management consulting firm, is hiring a Senior Consultant in Stockholm or Copenhagen. You will shape client engagements from problem definition through implementation, working alongside colleagues and clients to solve complex problems and drive change, while helping develop the next generation of consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workstreams on client engagements, structuring analyses and developing actionable recommendations.
• Frame hypotheses, identify key business questions and direct quantitative and qualitative research.
• Solve complex business issues with structured problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Develop client deliverables such as presentations, analyses, workshops, models and discussions.
• Manage and coach junior team members and build trusted client relationships.
• Travel within the home market and internationally as client needs require.

Required profile

• 3+ years of relevant experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm.
• Experience serving clients in Banking and Financial Services, Finance and Risk, Restructuring, Insurance or Logistics is highly advantageous.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree in STEM, Finance, Economics or a related quantitative discipline.
• Fluent business English and another Scandinavian language.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Required skills

• Outstanding analytical and quantitative problem-solving, able to structure ambiguous business problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across audiences and seniority levels.
• Cross-functional, fast-paced teamwork and delivering results under pressure.
• Nice to have: data analytics, advanced quantitative modelling or data science; CFA or equivalent; MBA or Master's degree.
