Financial Lines Insurance Broker

About the role

Marsh is looking for a Financial Lines Insurance Broker based in Stockholm to join a specialized team working with Nordic clients. The role suits someone early in their broking or insurance career who wants to build deep expertise in financial lines and client advisory, with strong support from experienced colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain client relationships, understanding their business, risk profile and insurance needs
• Advise clients on financial lines insurance solutions such as Directors' and Officers' Liability, Crime and Professional Liability insurance
• Contribute to negotiations of policy terms and pricing on behalf of clients, with increasing responsibility over time
• Support clients through complex claims and coverage matters, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
• Assist clients with claims and follow up with insurers
• Contribute to business intelligence and market research to identify new clients and growth opportunities

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, law, economics or a related field; a master's degree is a plus but not required
• Native-level fluency in Swedish and strong command of English
• Interest in developing towards presenting to larger client groups, including senior stakeholders
• Ability to learn quickly and take on new subject matter; experience in insurance, broking or related risk and financial services roles is an advantage
• Willingness to travel occasionally on short business trips, mainly within the Nordics and to London
