Senior CI/CD Engineer - Python, Jenkins, HIL & ECU

About the role

DXC Luxoft, a global software services company with an Automotive practice serving car manufacturers and suppliers, is hiring a Senior CI/CD Engineer in Gothenburg. The role sits in a Vehicle Engineering environment supporting HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and ECU software development, on a mature CI/CD platform covering build, deployment, verification and validation. It is a hands-on engineering position combining CI/CD development, operational support, automation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, operate and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines supporting vehicle software development.
• Develop and enhance automation frameworks and integrations, mainly in Python.
• Build scalable CI/CD workflows for automated build, deployment, testing and verification, and integrate automated tests into CI pipelines.
• Support HIL and ECU build environments, including software deployment and automated verification.
• Develop monitoring and dashboard solutions for CI/CD health, performance, KPIs and troubleshooting.
• Proactively monitor pipelines, investigate incidents, run root-cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes.
• Support artifact management, software packaging, deployment preparation and release activities.
• Operate across Linux and Windows environments and Azure-hosted infrastructure.
• Collaborate with CI teams, software development teams, verification teams and other engineering stakeholders, and document implementations, configurations, troubleshooting solutions and best practices.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in CI/CD engineering, automation and DevOps practices.
• Experience diagnosing complex automation failures and conducting root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with the automotive industry and its communication protocols, especially CAN and LIN.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in an engineering team and strong, pragmatic communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python development and scripting for automation.
• Skilled in building, maintaining and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines.
• Nice to have: Jenkins, Zuul, HIL/ECU environments, CANoe, vTESTstudio, Azure, Linux/Windows and automotive test automation experience.
