Scrum Master for 800xA Core Team

About the role

ABB is seeking a Scrum Master to join the 800xA Core Team, a cross‑functional group responsible for system‑wide implementations across global development streams. The role is based in Malmö or Västerås, Sweden, and involves both agile facilitation and hands‑on technical contribution.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and track all activities across the System Core Team using a unified backlog.
• Facilitate collaboration between the team, Product Owner, and stakeholders, ensuring transparent sprint progress.
• Coach team members in Agile practices and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain delivery plans, monitor backlog health, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
• Contribute hands‑on to system‑level tasks such as release management, third‑party software coordination, and automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, or related field.
• Experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role; Scrum certification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe).
• Fluent in English and Swedish.
