Project Manager - Global Payroll Provider

About the role

Alfa Laval is rolling out a global Time, Attendance and Absence management system and needs a seasoned Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new global payroll provider across multiple countries. You will coordinate a complex, matrixed environment, aligning global objectives with local statutory and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the RFP, vendor selection and due‑diligence process for the payroll provider.
• Define project scope, governance structures, timelines, budgets and risk mitigation plans.
• Coordinate data migration, system integrations, testing, payroll reconciliation and parallel runs.
• Manage stakeholder expectations across global payroll, HR, IT, finance, tax, treasury and procurement teams.
• Ensure local compliance, handle escalations and oversee post‑go‑live stabilization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, HR or related field.
• Proven experience managing complex, multi‑country payroll or HR technology projects.
• Strong vendor and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Ability to navigate competing global, regional and local priorities.
