Principal Software Engineer

About the role

Calabrio-Verint, a provider of customer experience intelligence with a cloud platform and AI-driven analytics tools, is looking for a Principal Software Engineer in Stockholm, Sweden. The role sits in an innovative, collaborative team delivering end-to-end new functionality, from architecture and implementation to deployment for customers, working closely with product owners, leads and agile coaches.

Key responsibilities

• Build high-quality web and cloud applications with a team of developers.
• Work with product owners and customers to turn their ideas and requirements into top-class solutions.
• Provide architectural leadership and guidance on complex technical initiatives, keeping solutions scalable, secure and maintainable.
• Foster a collaborative engineering culture through pair programming, mob programming, knowledge sharing and mentorship.
• Drive continuous improvement of products, platforms, development practices and operational processes.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate ways to improve products and development efficiency.

Required profile

• 10+ years of expert-level software engineering experience with modern backend technologies (C#, Java or equivalent) and frontend frameworks such as React.
• Own technical strategy and architectural direction across multiple teams and products.
• Experience leading and helping others within and outside your own team, and solving complex problems with no standard solutions.
• Experience working in the CCaaS industry.
• Candidate must be located in Stockholm, Sweden.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of web technologies such as HTML and JavaScript libraries.
• Thorough experience of test-driven development, pair- and mob programming, and agile development.
• Thorough experience of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Excellent knowledge of database programming fundamentals.
