HVDC Customer Training Manager

About the role

Hitachi Energy Sweden is looking for a Customer Training Manager for its HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) projects, based in Västerås or Ludvika. The role owns and coordinates the customer training deliverable from tender to final project delivery, working with customers, project teams, technical experts, trainers and suppliers. It is not a technical specialist role, though an interest in technology and a willingness to keep up with technical developments helps.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the delivery of customer training across the HVDC project lifecycle.
• Turn customer requirements into structured training scope, plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables.
• Coordinate customers, project teams, technical experts, trainers and suppliers for effective and timely training.
• Keep training progress, risks, costs, commitments and documentation under control.
• Apply and support classroom, virtual and e-learning methods to create effective learning experiences.
• Improve processes, systems and digital learning solutions through continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Experience managing projects, coordinating activities or driving deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong planning, organisational and communication skills, able to handle several priorities.
• Proactive, structured approach, able to identify risks and solve problems independently.
• Customer-focused, able to build relationships with customers, suppliers and project teams.
• Excellent written and spoken English, as the team is global.
• Project delivery, training, digital learning, engineering or energy experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Digital skills and quick learning of new tools and systems.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms is beneficial.
