Head Waiter

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Head Waiter to lead the guest experience at Villa Valentina in Stockholm. You will combine excellent service with strong team leadership to ensure every guest feels welcomed from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example, delivering warm, confident and attentive service.
• Coordinate wait staff during shifts, ensuring sections run smoothly.
• Maintain and enforce service standards throughout the floor.
• Welcome guests, take orders and provide food and drink recommendations.
• Monitor overall guest experience and intervene when support is needed.
• Motivate and organise the team during busy periods.
• Assist in training and developing new and existing team members.
• Collaborate closely with management and kitchen teams for seamless communication.
• Help keep the restaurant clean, organised and ready for service.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Senior Waiter or similar role.
• Confident leader who can support a team during high‑volume service.
• Warm, engaging and professional approach with guests.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Calm under pressure, decisive and ownership‑focused.
• Good knowledge of food, drinks and restaurant service.
• Team‑first mindset and willingness to be hands‑on.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy periods.
