Experienced Electronics Engineer

About the role

Axis Communications is hiring an experienced electronics engineer for its System Products Electronics Team at its headquarters in Lund, Sweden. The team develops products such as body-worn cameras, recorders and devices like strobe sirens and decoders, working from concept through to delivery on projects typically lasting one to two years.

Key responsibilities

• Requirements analysis and concept development
• Analog and digital circuit design and component selection
• Schematic capture using Xpedition and PCB layout supervision
• Prototype verification and troubleshooting, including soldering and hands-on lab work
• Organizing certifications and providing production support
• Working closely with mechanical engineers and firmware developers from concept to market launch

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field
• Hands-on experience designing electronics, verifying designs in an advanced lab and EMC testing
• Experience with product development from early-stage conceptual and system-level design through verification, and final EMC and regulatory approvals
• Highly motivated, outgoing person with good communication skills, able to work independently with limited supervision and in a team
