Engineering Internship - Wind Turbine Blade R&D, Lund, Sweden

About the role

A small wind energy tech startup, spun off from a Swedish university, is looking for an engineering intern in Lund, Sweden. The intern joins the Research & Development team and works directly on rotor blades for wind turbines, from concept to prototype. The internship is arranged by Abroad Internships, which handles application, visa and housing.

Key responsibilities

• Concept development and design of new blade technology
• Structural and fluid mechanics analysis
• Lab testing and prototyping
• Contributing to a new, potentially industry-changing blade concept

Required profile

• Studying engineering, product development or a related technical or scientific field
• Genuine interest in solving problems for the renewable energy sector
• Some hands-on experience with product development
• Analytical mindset, comfortable working in English and ready to take initiative in a small, research-driven team
