Delivery Specialist (Senior) – Payment Solutions

About the role

As a Delivery Specialist at Avarda you will lead the implementation of payment solutions for merchants across the Nordics, guiding them from planning through go‑live. You will act as the main bridge between merchants and internal teams such as Product, IT, Development, Operations and Commercial, ensuring smooth, high‑quality deliveries in a fast‑paced fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end merchant onboarding and implementation projects that typically span several months.
• Manage multiple merchant implementations simultaneously while maintaining transparency, predictability and high delivery standards.
• Coordinate collaboration between merchants and internal stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical tasks.
• Support technical activities including API integration, testing, troubleshooting and release coordination.
• Proactively manage risks, dependencies and blockers to ensure timely delivery and smooth transition to ongoing service management.

Required profile

• 2+ years (Delivery Specialist) or 5+ years (Senior) experience in implementation, delivery or technical project management, preferably in fintech, payments or SaaS.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Required skills

• API integrations and technical documentation.
• Jira and Confluence.
• Project‑management frameworks such as PRINCE2, Scrum or ITIL.
