Category Manager IT Services

About the role

As the Global Category Manager for IT Services at Sandvik, you will lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for IT services worldwide. You will shape category plans, manage supplier relationships and drive value creation across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and govern IT Services category strategies.
• Establish the IT supplier portfolio and commercial agreement framework.
• Lead cross‑functional category teams and manage end‑to‑end strategic sourcing projects.
• Negotiate, conclude and implement supplier contracts.
• Drive strategic supplier management, including governance and compliance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in strategic sourcing and category management within complex, global organisations.
• Strong commercial mindset with a proven ability to secure maximum value from supplier relationships.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and work cross‑functionally.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish.
• Relevant academic degree; manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
