About the role

As a Waiter/Waitress at Basta in Uppsala, you will be at the heart of the guest experience, welcoming diners, guiding them through the menu and delivering friendly, attentive service in a lively Italian‑style restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth, confidence and positive energy.
• Take orders accurately, suggest menu items and answer guest questions.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct presentation and portion sizes.
• Maintain a clean, organized section and prepare it for each service.
• Collaborate with kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth, high‑energy shifts.

Required profile

• Positive attitude, friendly personality and genuine love for hospitality.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting.
• Strong communication skills and a team‑first mindset.
• Ability to stay calm and organized during busy periods.
