vCloud Application Manager

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY SWEDEN AB is looking for a vCloud Application Manager in Ludvika, Sweden, to lead the evolution of its enterprise vCloud environment. The role combines technical expertise, strategic planning and stakeholder collaboration to deliver a secure, scalable and high-performing cloud platform that supports critical business operations. It is full time and on-site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the vCloud platform strategy, roadmap, capacity planning, resource forecasting and performance management across the organization.
• Act as technical lead for complex platform issues, architectural decisions, upgrades and continuous improvement of the vCloud environment.
• Design, implement, maintain and optimize enterprise-scale vCloud organizations, virtual data centers, vApps, templates and media resources.
• Develop and manage access control frameworks, administrative rights models and security practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set up governance frameworks, RACI models, operational standards and resource allocation guidelines.
• Define, document and maintain best practices, operational procedures and technical standards for installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Support, mentor and enable administrators, support teams and end users to maximize platform adoption.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience managing, supporting and optimizing enterprise cloud platforms, preferably in VMware vCloud environments.
• Great understanding of cloud infrastructure, virtualization, networking, storage, security and access management.
• Experience with capacity planning, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization and cloud governance.
• Experience developing operational processes, technical standards, governance models and role-based access control frameworks.
• Excellent written and spoken English, able to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
