Solution Architect – Digital Platforms

About the role

DeLaval is seeking a Solution Architect to shape its digital products and platforms that support dairy farmers worldwide. You will act as the bridge between business needs and technology, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve architecture principles, standards, and technical guidelines.
• Design end‑to‑end, scalable solutions for equipment‑related functionality, IoT services, and device lifecycle support.
• Guide cross‑functional teams in architectural decisions and technology choices.
• Ensure security, performance, scalability, and maintainability of the platform.
• Manage architectural risks, dependencies, and technical debt.
• Drive alignment across teams and contribute to the technical roadmap.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Software Architect, or similar technical leadership role.
• Strong background in software development and system architecture.
• Experience designing solutions across multiple systems, services, and domains.
• Understanding of cloud‑native architectures, APIs, integrations, and event‑driven designs.
• Awareness of security best practices and performance optimization.
